The SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) framework, governed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), provides a rigorous, independent assessment of a company’s controls related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. While Insight Optix achieved its SOC 2 Type I compliance on July 9, 2024, the Type II certification reflects a more thorough review of the systems in place over a set period of time, confirming not only the design and policies are effective, but sustained compliance of the security controls over time is standard operating procedure.
